Always such a great service at Faringdon Haine & Smith. Rachel is very thorough and down to earth and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I visited the Faringdon branch of Haine & Smith last Tuesday and was seen by Rachel Bath as an emergency due to my sudden dip in vision in one eye. I had a very thorough examination and an urgent referral was sent to Great Western Hospital. I was seen today by the hospital and am now on a waiting list for a necessary operation. I would like to praise the swift, professional action by the excellent optometrist, Rachel, and highly recommend Haine & Smith, Faringdon branch.

Came in to choose my first prescription glasses. The operative was very helpful and knowledgable about what to get and explained all the details about each option to take. I appreciated the transparency approach and not pushing any particular brand. Good experience overall.

I have gone to these opticians for many years. Recently they referred me to the Oxford Eye Hospital after a routine examination. John the manager even drove me there as I was on my own and couldn’t drive myself. All the staff were exceptionally helpful even buying me a sandwich to take hospital. They certainly deserve their 5 stars

Absolutely brilliant! Amazing service. I’ve been using opticians for many, many years now and these have been the best. I got my prescription from another optician and Haine and Smith, Faringdon made up my glasses. The glasses were not right. I was given a free eyesight test to find the problem which was discovered to be a typing error from my previous optician!!! Jon was brilliant at sorting out the problem and ordered another pair of glasses at no cost to myself. The quality of the optometrist was amazing extremely knowledgeable and in fact a junior doctor. The old saying “get what you pay for! "
