Keeping you safe
Updated 13th June 2022
Face Coverings
Asymptomatic patients and visitors to our practices are no longer required to wear a face covering. However, you are welcome to wear one if you want to. Our clinical staff will continue to wear face coverings when they deem it necessary. If you are vulnerable or have a partcular preference for our staff to wear face coverings for the duration of your visit, please advise us upon your arrival.
Respiratory Infections
As a healthcare setting, in line with NHS Guidance, we ask that you do not attend your appointment if you have a fever or recent onset of symptoms of a respiratory infection / cold e.g.
- A new, continuous cough
- A loss or alteration to your taste or smell
- Runny nose
- Sore throat
- Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Instead, please phone us so we can discuss how we can safely meet your eyecare needs.
