It's the 2022 award season at Haine & Smith, celebrating success and achievement for our practices and teams across the region.
“Presenting these awards has been an absolute delight for me, particularly as we’ve not presented awards for the past couple of years owing to the disruption and unusual working conditions of COVID.

Top Optical Advisor
Many congratulations to Rosie Bembnowicz who has won our Top Optical Advisor award.
Rosie has been a valuable part of the Haine & Smith team since May 2019. Rosie is constantly upskilling, always polite and calm, inspiring confidence and putting patients at ease.
Rosie responded on receiving her award: "Thank you to Haine & Smith for thinking of me with this award; many brilliant Optical Advisors work here. I really appreciate everything Haine & Smith has done for me in the time I have been working for them. I hope to continue doing my best with the job in the future. Thank you again."
Special Award
A big thank you to Tony Pym, one of our very talented optometrists, who has won our Special Award.
Tony has great experience and knowledge, a very personable manner, excellent communication skills and receives amazing feedback from patients and staff. His passion and positivity for optics comes through in all his work.
Upon receiving his award, Tony said: "Being presented with the award was completely unexpected but lovely to have the work I do recognised. I couldn't do the job without the support of the fantastic colleagues I work with, and they are equally deserving of this recognition."
Top Practice
Very many congratulations to Warminster who have won our Top Practice Award.
In this very competitive award, the team at Warminster stood out for their positivity, energy and drive to deliver the best possible experience to their patients..
Warminster's Practice Manager Natalie Gray commented: “The practice is very proud to achieve this award. It's great to have our hard work and enthusiasm recognised. We all work well as a team and put our patients at the heart of everything we do, we are all truly grateful. Our patients will be able to walk past the practice and see our certificate in pride of place”

Top Employee
Many congratulations to Cheryl Acathan who has been named our Top Employee for 2022!
Chery joined the Haine & Smith family in 2009 and she is currently managing our practice in Gorse Hill in Swindon. Cheryl is always happy and motivated, sees opportunities rather than problems, builds fantastic rapport with patients and gets the best from her team.
Here are a few words from Cheryl about receiving the award: "Well, what can I say but wow and thank you! This award was truly unexpected and such a lovely surprise. It is fantastic to feel recognised and appreciated for the work you do. At Gorse Hill, we pride ourselves on working closely as a team and without my fabulous team's help, support and hard work over the last couple of years I wouldn't be where I am today...and receiving this award! I really enjoy the work I do and being part of such a wonderful team."
